Career Possibility

When I moved to the office for my receptionist position, I was told that there was a possibility to advance after my maternity leave into a business management position. If this happened, it would be totally cool...I would have a day job with nights and weekends off, only working holidays when I wanted to, which would be totally cool, especially with Jocelyn growing up, I would be with her and my husband in the evenings and on the weekends/holidays. Working afternoons makes it hard for Mike and I to have time together...especially now that we have a child, and I just want to be agreeable and make everything work the best that it can.
I'm just asking for prayer...I go to the doctor to get released tomorrow and I don't know when I'll find out one way or another about the job, but God is in control and I want His will in my life. I have turned it over to Him and all I can do is pray about it. If it is meant to be, God will make it possible, and I will follow him regardless of the outcome.

UPDATE!

Jocelyn had to have an ultrasound on her hips today. We probably won't have the results in a couple days, and the doctor didn't sound like he thought it would be a serious problem. Her hip creases aren't symmetrical which could lead to problems, so please keep her in your prayers. Adam and Katie were here this weekend with some exciting news...a new little cousin to add to the family will be here in September I think, maybe it was October, but I'm pretty sure it's September. Got some new scrapbooking stuff today at JoAnn's but I forgot to take my 40% off coupon, so after my doctor appointment on Thursday I'm going back to get one thing...if I can go and only get ONE thing it will be a miracle in itself!

One month stroll!

Sunday, April 6th, after dinner we went for a walk at the resevoir. Jocelyn loved the sun, and it was a beautiful day...Spring has finally sprung! Then again they say it's going to SNOW this weekend...UGGGH! Anyway, so here are pics of Jocelyn's first walk...well, ride in the stroller, and a family shot that I managed to snap and get us all in the picture together...GO ME! Then there are the ones of Jocelyn's first bath as promised in the previous post.


Going to scrap tonight so I have all the pictures out now...Hard to believe that a whole month has gone by...she'll be one before I know it! My how time flies!

Today Jocelyn had to go to the doctor for her one month check-up where she had to get a shot. She screamed for a long time and I felt so bad...but she had to get it.

Sunday we went to the red track park after dinner, I'll have to get pictures up on here, and Adam and Katie are coming in this weekend so I have to finish cleaning my house before I go to the crop night. My brother got a WII...SO MUCH FUN!!!!!! That's what I've been doing in the evenings...totally cool! Of course Mike is upset because I seem to keep beating him, but they just discovered there is another disc that we haven't played and it has bowling on it, so he thinks he can show me up...we'll see, I'm going to go find out!

One Month!

So...today was entertaining, we got our family portraits done, along with Jocelyn's one month pictures! We went to Olan Mills, and would you know that the guy that works there...well, let's just say that he's something else, and I don't plan on having him do too many more portraits for us. I just wasn't impressed with him much at all.

Jocelyn did so well, other than not wanting to co-operate with the guy, and I don't blame her because I wouldn't have wanted to co-operate either. He was just strange. However, I feel that we got some pretty decent shots, and an adorable family picture...well, I don't like myself in the picture, but then again, I'm so critical of pictures of me that it shouldn't be too surprising. So, in two weeks we should have them back and ready to play with them. I'm SO ready to scrapbook again that it's killing me! I just don't seem to have the time to keep my house clean and have time to scrapbook in between feeding/diaper changing/play time! Hopefully I'll get time sooner or later, but as for now I guess I'll just keep taking the pictures. Though all the cute ones with Mike and Jocelyn sleeping on the couch get missed. It seems Mike doesn't sleep sound enough for me to sneak to the camera and capture the moment before he wakes up, and then the pictures are off limits :(

So after the pictures, we went to a gas station and Mike and I took turns going inside to change our clothes...then we met my parents at Quaker Steak and Lube for a late lunch. After that was a stop at WalMart, a stop at my grandma's with Jocelyn, then a stroller/walk to my aunt's...and now a stop at my parents, so it's time for the update.

Well that was the day, so I guess it's all until the next post, until then...Ciao!
